The main reason for the establishment of the Bhartiya Vidya Mandal in 1965 was with the idea of establishing an institute for educational purpose which came up to Shree Gopalbhai Jivabhai Bhakta (Jiva Parivar ) of Vav village. At that time he got the co-operation of Shree Parmanand Wazir from Kamrej and Shree Manharlal Jethalal Vakil from Kathor. The trio held a meeting established Shree Bharatiya Vidya Mandal with the aim of educating the poor people around Kamrej taluka. Shree Kalyanj Mehta,the first speaker of Mumbai state,also co-operated in the establishment of Shree Bharatiya Vidya Mandal. In the year 1965 Arts College has been established on Kamrej crossing, near national highway no.08 (recent national highway no.48) and later started science and Commerce College with the help of donors. All three faculties ran together. In a few years institutes like ITI, secondary school, B.Ed. college, primary school, kindergarten, micro biology , PGDMLT have been started and today it has become a huge educational campus. This is due to the help of many donors nearby it. At present Shree Arvindbhai Bhakta has been serving in the institution as chairman and Shree Vinubhai Bhakta honorary secretary for many years. They are accompanied by team of other committee members. About 6500 students are being benefited with good education in this huge campus spread out in 97,500 sq. meters and about 220 teaching and non teaching staff is getting employment.
